In contrast, bottling operations involve low temperatures. Low loads but rapid movements define the lubricant requirements for bottling, labeling, and packaging. Some lubricants must be water-resistant, while CIP cleaning requires washable products; in rotary distributors and areas in contact with beer, compatibility with beer foam is crucial. ELKALUB offers specially developed H1-registered lubricants for filling systems that perform reliably even under these demanding conditions.
For a wide variety of taps and (aseptic) valves, the entire range of sealing materials must be taken into account: NBR, EPDM, Viton, FFKM, LSR, and PTFE. From solid greases to semi-fluid greases, liquid oils of various viscosities, and aerosol sprays – everything is available and can be applied either manually, with lubricators, or via central lubrication systems.
To complicate matters further, every machine and equipment manufacturer also specifies its own, often very expensive, lubricants.
While this is feasible for larger breweries with their own maintenance crew, a comprehensive lubrication concept from a single source would naturally be preferable. However, especially in smaller breweries, where the brewmaster is also responsible for technical operations, it is essential to have simple - and therefore safe and convenient – lubrication concepts from a single source.
Whether in large or small breweries – we offer our ELKALUB lubricants and consultation from an ELKALUB specialist as a solution.
By the way: We not only supply numerous machine and equipment manufacturers for their accessory lines, but many of them have also approved our products for the lubrication of their equipment.
